Yonas Fikak brings over a decade of experience in the field of education. His journey began as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year. He then joined Success Academy in New York City where he spent two years teaching in the classroom. Afterward, Yonas took on the role of Program Manager at City Year for three years. His passion for education has led him to hold various leadership positions in charter schools and nonprofits.
Over 260+ community members met regionally across the state to discuss their digital equity needs and share resources in this 9-session series hosted by the Washington State Office of Equity. We culminated with a statewide session dedicated to community presentations and resource sharing.
