On September 25th 2025, Governor Bob Ferguson announced Executive Order 25-09, which created the Immigration Subcabinet. This Immigration Sub-Cabinet helps coordinate efforts across state agencies on immigration, disability, and 2SLGBTQAI+ issues, while reaffirming Washington’s commitment to protecting these communities and their rights, including protecting their data.
