Director, Communications

TraeAnna Holiday earned her degree in Communications and Urban Studies from the University of Washington. She has over 12 years of professional experience in the field of communications, but also brings her professional childhood production training to the table. Throughout her career she's been a Community Advocate and Organizer, Media Specialist, and Media Director. She is now the Director of Communications at the Office of Equity for Washington state. In this role she gets to bring her passion for community driven communications to bridge the gap between state government and the communities it serves. She's also an Emmy award winning Media Personality and Producer for a Black-owned media company, Converge Media. As a mother of two, she works hard to be a great example for her sons, while promoting ways to create a belonging world with them as her guiding light.
