Sabrina Njoroge
Shared Power Consultant
A sophisticated and unapologetic Black woman grounded in trust, accountability, and transparency, Sabrina Njoroge (JOE-ROW-GEH) dedicates her life’s work to uplifting the voices and experiences of those too often left out of decision-making rooms. As one of the Shared Power and the Community Compensation Program Manager at Washington State's Office of Equity, she leads with conviction, ensuring that policies are created with the people not for them.
A fierce advocate for both disability justice and equity, Sabrina’s commitment is deeply personal. As the mother of a brilliant neurodivergent daughter, she understands firsthand the urgency of building systems that honor lived expertise, remove barriers, and recognize the invaluable perspectives of the I/DD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) and marginalized communities.
In every space she enters, Sabrina champions shared power, belonging, meaningful inclusion, and community-centered leadership. She works tirelessly to make sure community members are not only consulted but respected, compensated, and empowered. Her work reflects a profound belief: the people closest to the challenges hold the wisdom, insight, and solutions needed to transform systems.
Unwavering in purpose and unapologetic in truth, Sabrina is reshaping what equitable policymaking looks like one relationship, one voice, and one community at a time.
