What do you love to do outside of the Office of Equity?
"I’m originally from Peru, but I’ve lived in Washington State for 20 years. I love the area where I live in because I’ve been lucky to establish wonderful friendships and partnerships with other immigrants, refugees, and allies around the state. I served as a Commissioner for the Commission on Immigrant and Refugee Affairs in my city and participated in the Tacoma Refugee Choir too! I love singing, dancing, meeting people, trying new food, and traveling.

What do you love to do outside of the Office of Equity?
"When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, being creative, and traveling. Learning about and exploring new countries has expanded my horizons and redefined how I view myself."
Naghmana Sherazi
What do you love to do outside of the Office of Equity?
"Being near water is a given for me. :) I love bright sunshiny days, hanging with friends at the beach or by the river. And I love to cook, so always, always up for good food - again, with friends. I use food to bridge the gap between folks, and I have had great success with it."
Aylis J Lind
What do you love to do outside of the Office of Equity?
"I'm a storyteller and an author, either at a tabletop, at an improv event, or in a book. I am sharing my love of stories with my two children, and helping them to grow big, strong, wise, and kind."
