About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, attending live music events, and exploring new cuisines, which helps me stay curious and open to new perspectives. I value personal growth, meaningful connections, and continuous learning, both professionally and personally. It is important to know that I am intentional about growth, resilient, and committed to building a fulfilling career while contributing positively to the communities I serve.
My Role
My superpower is staying organized and calm while supporting others and helping teams move work forward. I bring a thoughtful, inclusive approach shaped by my lived experience as an immigrant woman, and I am intentional about listening, learning, and supporting equitable ways of working. Before coming here, I worked in administrative and coordination roles, supporting leaders, managing day-to-day operations, and helping improve processes so teams could focus on their priorities.
Why My Work Matters To Me
I am here because I believe public service has the power to create systems that are fair, accessible, and responsive to the people they serve. As an immigrant woman from Nigeria navigating life and career growth in the United States, I have experienced firsthand how systems can either support opportunity or create barriers, which drives my commitment to dismantling systemic racism. My path into public service grew from administrative and operational roles where I saw how policies, processes, and everyday decisions directly impact people’s lives. This work is personal to me because equity is not abstract—it shapes access, dignity, and outcomes for individuals and communities like mine.
