Equity in Session: Season 2 Episode 1

Welcome to the first episode of Season 2 of Equity in Session - we are so excited to be back! This year, instead of weekly updates, the Office of Equity will deliver key updates throughout the 2025 legislative session. In this episode, we kick off with Omar Santana-Gomez, our Director of Policy & Legislative Affairs, who sets the stage for what's to come. We also feature a special video from Rep. April Berg as part of her series, Berg Bill Basics. Finally, Senior Policy & Legislative Affairs Advisor, Patrick Stickney, guides us through his segment, Bills to Watch. Stay tuned for insightful updates and important legislative information.

In this season finale of Equity in Session, Omar Santana-Gomez, OOE's new Director of Policy & Legislative Affairs, gives us final updates on the legislation timeline. Patrick Stickney, OOE's new Senior Policy & Legislative Affairs Advisor, walks us through the rest of the bills life cycles. Finally, we welcome iisaaksiichaa braine, OOE's Tribal Liaison, to honor and uplift the legacy of Senator McCoy.
