2023 We the People Convening: Recruiting for a Diverse Candidate Pool

On October 25th, Megan Matthews from the Office of Equity and Michaela Doelman from the Office of Financial Management put on a workshop for an online group of state agency employees. 

In this workshop, the Office of Equity partners with the Office of Financial Management to uplift how Megan and other Office of Equity staff used their own hiring process to infuse equity into, starting with the position descriptions. Follow along as they show how they got to such a large and diverse office staff.
