Serving our Customers for a Washington for All

As public servants we must serve each customer or client with empathy and do our best meet their need. This standard exists even though we have complex laws and policies to navigate and programs that sometimes conflict with each other. We may also have a lot of people to serve each day. The people we serve need help and often are in a state of survival and our systems are dehumanizing to navigate.

What are some ways we can show up for every individual we serve? How can we help them navigate their current situation, removing barriers so they can achieve the future they want for themselves?

In this session, we discuss with Marisa Cairns, a Career and Training Specialist at Skill Source, how she does just that. Please join us to learn from her, and possibility share your tips, for providing excellent customer service.
